Spring Has Sprung!

Spring has sprung and brought many changes to our Preschool!

We'd like to welcome our new Preschool Director, Debbie Quinn, to our family! Debbie comes to us with  many years experience in Early Childhood Education. We are welcoming her back as some of those years were spent right here at New Beginnings! If you haven't met her already, feel free to stop in the office and say hello!

It's hard to believe that it's May already! Classes are filling up for the 2010-2011 school year! If your child is currently attending the Preschool and will be returning next year please be sure to get your registration packet turned in as soon as possible. If you are new to our Preschool family, consider this your invitation to stop by anytime for a tour!

Speaking of tours, we will be hosting an Open House on Saturday, May 22 from 9:30am to 11:30am. Come see all that New Beginnings has to offer your child! Debbie Quinn, our director, and all our teachers will be on hand to answer any questions you may have! Light snacks will be provided. Call 850-995-4936 for more information!

Eat More Chicken.. at least that's what the cows always say! Please plan on joining us for dinner at Chik-Fil-A on Highway 90 (by Walmart) on Monday, May 24th! Cards were given out at school this week! Bring your card (and your neighbors, family and friends!) and New Beginnings will get a portion of the proceeds that night! You just might catch your favorite teacher clearing a table or two! Looking forward to seeing you there!

February Preschool Happenings!

February has been a busy month! Who'd have thought that we'd have a SNOW day in Pace, FL?!?

We'd like to thank Mr. Johnson, from Martial Arts America, for coming in to spend some time at the preschool last week! The kids learned some very important lessons and had a lot of fun at the same time. Mr. Johnson talked to the kids about the importance of listening, respecting others and stranger danger! The kids learned that a stranger is ANYONE that they do not know! They were taught what they can do if a stranger ever tries to grab them. They also learned that respect is treating others with kindness. The students (and teachers!) all appreciate Mr. Johnson coming in! Each child should have received a coupon for 2 free classes at Martial Arts America in their folder. If your child didn't get one, just ask and we'll get you one!

All of our classes enjoyed celebrating Valentines Day! What fun it was to exchange Valentines cards and goodies with our friends!

In Memory of Lt. Clinton Wermers

Our love and prayers go out to Shannon, Cadence and Audrey Wermers. There will be a Memorial Service at NAS Whiting Field on Monday, February 1 at 11am. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to a Trust Fund for Shannon and the girls. More information can be found at www.airwarriorcourage.org. Please specify that the donation is being made in honor of Lt. Wermers.
